Frequently asked questions

When will the ShangMeals app be available?

The iOS app is coming soon to the App Store. We're launching in select U.S. cities first. Sign up as a merchant or follow along — we'll announce availability here.

How do I place an order?

Once the app launches, open ShangMeals, browse restaurants near you, add items to your cart, choose a payment method, and place your order. You'll see live status updates as your food is prepared and delivered.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit/debit cards and Apple Pay. Payments are processed securely — we never store your full card details on our servers.

How do refunds work?

If something goes wrong with your order, contact us at info@shangmeals.com with your order details. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

I'm a restaurant owner — how do I join?

Sign up directly in our merchant portal. You can also learn more on our For Merchants page.

I want to deliver — how do I become a rider?

The ShangMeals app works for both eaters and riders. Once the app is on the App Store, download it and switch to rider mode to start accepting delivery requests. See our For Riders page, or email info@shangmeals.com with questions.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time from within the ShangMeals app (Profile → Account → Delete Account), or by emailing us. See our Privacy Policy for details on what happens to your data.
